In December, the children’s most important activity was the “Caring and Sharing” project, wherein they learned ways of caring for others and about how building relationships with their parents and teachers can help them to feel safe, secure and comfortable. When asked about ways in which they might be able to help others by sharing, the children agreed that they would like to care for elderly locals by spending time with them, bringing food and clothing, running errands, and/ or washing clothes and vessels.
