November 14th-18th
Diwali is almost here! As you may know, Diwali is like Christmas for Indian children. Children wait in great anticipation for this holiday that comes just once a year.
To provide our children with a joyous celebration amidst the pandemic, we have put together Family Feast Kits.
Each kit provides all that is needed to prepare a special feast of delicacies at home for a Hope child and their family.
These kits are truly a blessing for families experiencing high food insecurity.
Diwali Traditions
Known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.
Diwali is also a very special day for charitable donations– an auspicious time for wealth consciousness and longevity.
Although Diwali celebrations will not be held publicly this year, Hope children are still hoping for an opportunity to celebrate.
Thank you so much for any gift you can give– it means so much to a Hope child. Together with their families, we’ll be bringing 18,000 beautiful souls holiday joy that would not otherwise be possible.
