I am more than just a donor—I am a witness

Through their heartfelt sponsorship, Inez and Jan have made an incredible impact—uplifting children, empowering youth, and restoring dignity to elders through the Tripura Foundation’s life-changing programs. In January, Inez visited the projects they support in rural India, witnessing firsthand the transformation made possible through love, HoPE education, and opportunity.

This inspiring blog post is Inez’s personal reflection—a moving testament to the power of love, giving back, and being part of a mission that brings HoPE to those who need it most.

For the past 15 years, I have had the profound privilege of witnessing the heartwarming impact of the Tripura Foundation in rural India. This is not just an organization—it is a beacon of hope, touching lives with kindness, dignity, and the unwavering belief that every person deserves a chance to thrive.

Through the Hope Learning Centers, Computer Development Center, and Hope for the Elderly Program, I have seen miracles unfold. Children once burdened by hardship now radiate confidence. Elders, once forgotten, now feel seen, valued, and cherished. These are not just statistics or projects—they are human lives, and I carry their stories in my heart.

Empowering Children Through Education

At the Hope Learning Centers, I have sat with children whose eyes light up with dreams they never thought possible. Vishnu Priya, a seventh-grade student, once told me she was afraid to dream. Today, she speaks with courage and conviction, knowing that education is her bridge to a better future. Thanks to Phonemic Intelligence (PI) and the dedicated mentors at the center, children like Vishnu Priya are breaking the barriers of poverty, one lesson at a time.

Bridging the Digital Divide

Education today is more than books—it is about access. The Computer Development Center in Coimbatore, built with the support of the Order of St. John, has become a lifeline for children who had never touched a keyboard before.

I will never forget Kiran, a 12-year-old student, his face beaming with pride as he showed me how he could navigate a computer. “Now, I feel I can achieve something great,” he said. His words reminded me that hope is not just a feeling—it is a skill, an opportunity, and a future waiting to be built.

Restoring Dignity to the Elderly

Hope is not just for the young—it is for those who have spent lifetimes giving to others, only to find themselves alone in their later years. The Hope for the Elderly Program is more than just food and hygiene kits; it is a lifeline of love and companionship. I sat beside Pushparani, a woman with hip paralysis, who gripped my hands as she told me, “I no longer go to bed hungry. I feel like I belong.” Her words broke my heart and healed it at the same time. This is why we do what we do—to bring not just sustenance, but the warmth of human connection to those who need it most.

 A Movement of Lasting Change

The most beautiful part of this journey is seeing Hope Center graduates return—not as beneficiaries, but as mentors, teachers, and leaders. They are living proof that the cycle of poverty can be broken, and that education, love, and opportunity create ripples that last for generations.

I am more than just a donor—I am a witness. A witness to resilience, to transformation, and to the power of what is possible when people come together with open hearts. Every visit to India reminds me that this is not charity—it is a movement.

I invite you to be part of this journey. To see the lives that are changing, the futures being rewritten, and the love that is spreading. Tripura Foundation is not just giving hope—it is making hope an unstoppable force.

With all my heart, I stand with this mission, and I always will.

Much Love, Inez & Jan

Thank You Inez and Jan for inspiring us and being beacons of HoPE!
