World Water Day is observed each year on March 22 to promote the responsible use of water and access to safe water for everyone.
Water is necessary to sustain all forms of life.
Sadly, one in ten people around the world still do not have a safe water supply close to home.
At HoPE Learning Centers, children were taken to nearby springs. Teachers explained the different sources of water and the water cycle. Children discussed different ways of conserving water and how they can contribute toward it.
It doesn’t cost much to bring HoPE and knowledge to children. It costs only $300 a month to sponsor an entire HoPE Learning Center. If that is not within your budget right now, only $9 a month covers the costs of HoPE Center sponsorship for one child, including tutoring, lessons, materials, daily mini meals, and national holiday activities.
